How can you help?

Affiliation provides an opportunity for schools to participate in programs offered by Skills Canada – Ontario including: in-school presentations, workshops, Cardboard Boat Races and the Ontario Technological Skills Competition. A gift of $195.00 is equivalent to the affiliation of your child’s secondary school. A gift of $105.00 is equivalent to the affiliation of your child's elementary school.

The Skills Canada – Ontario Bursary provides financial assistance to students advancing from the Ontario Technological Skills Competition to the Canadian Skills Competition. The bursary assists with the travel costs for each member of Team Ontario. In addition, the bursary financially assists students participating in other Skills Canada – Ontario programs where costs may be a prohibitive factor. Your gift can assist to offset these costs.

“Skills Work!® For Youth” Employability Skills Camp is a week long day camp that enables grades 7 or 8 students to explore career opportunities within the skilled trades and technologies through hands-on workshops, activities and industry tours. The week also focuses on the importance of employability skills: communication, team work, problem solving, positive attitude and working safely to name a few. A gift of $150.00 will cover registration for one student to attend.
