We fly into Glasgow and are met by our local guide, Dave Southal, with our mini bus, as this bus will be our constant companion for the next two weeks. There will be a contest, prize to be announced, to name our bus and head out to Luss on Loch Lomond. We stay in a small hotel in Luss for two nights and the pattern is similar for our walk over the next two weeks - that is, small hotels or guest houses in Callendar, Killin, Amulree and Perth. Lunches will be packed for us and Dave is very resourceful in finding good places for dinner.
Tour program includes:
- Return charter air flights with Air Transat from Toronto to / from Glasgow with a pre-collected taxes
- Fully escorted by Greg Vincent
- Collection and return to Glasgow International Airport, with private mini-van and driver / guide David Southall
- Accommodation transfers during the walk
- Full breakfast, pack lunch and dinner daily (indicated by B, L, D in itinerary)
- Transport to extra tour activities in event of wet days
- Optional visits to Killin Highland Games and Pitloughry Ferstival Theatre
- Evening tickets to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo
